The Lazy Cat Story

" Lazy Cat Carpentry started off as a bit of a dream, something I'd always wanted to do but never quite got around to. I've been working with wood for as long as I can remember fitting kitchens with my dad when I was young and always tinkering away at projects. After spending five years as an engineer in the Army , I came back to carpentry, working on all sorts of jobs, big renovations, small fixes, custom builds - whatever needed doing!
I've worked self-employed as a carpenter and maintenance guy for numerous holiday homes, businesses, and domestic clients across Cornwall, but I always wanted to build a business of my own. That's where Lazy Cat Carpentry comes in. With the support of my partner, in early 2025, we decided to take the leap and turn my passion into a business, and now I get to spend my time doing what I love. "
